Welcome to Watersmead Books. We are online booksellers specialising in English, Irish and American Literature from 1900 to the present day, including:

We have a special interest in the literature of the inter-war years. 

We carry some general stock with books priced up to £300. The core of the business, however, is made up of more expensive items of genuine rarity.

We also have for sale a selection of original art works on paper by important illustrators of the period (mounted but not usually framed).

Our website includes a searchable database of stock as well as secure online ordering. Each item is fully described and carries our unconditional guarantee. Shipping is FREE worldwide. The price you see is the price you pay.

Any item can be returned within thirty days for a full refund of the purchase price if found unsatisfactory for any reason.
