Tall octavo. Oatmeal textured cloth covered boards, dark brown morocco label to spine with gilt lines and titles. Top edge stained dark brown, fore-edge uncut. Bottom corners lightly bumped, minor offsetting to pastedowns, overall a near fine copy. Housed in the original dark brown slip case with tape repairs internally, slight rubbing to covers and light wear to corners.

803 signed and numbered copies issued of which this is number 35 (slip case similarly numbered to foot of spine). The trade edition was published in the same year also by Henry Holt.

This volume was awarded the Pullitzer Prize for Poetry in 1937.
